Tucked away in an unassuming strips of shops, right off of Sunrise Highway, is Ephesus. Located in Massapequa Park, this restaurant offers Turkish Mediterranean cuisine. The food here is delicious. We come here at least once a week. I personally am addicted to the Shepard Salad here. The prices here are reasonable, and if you come during the week there is a lunch menu that is worth the price. While the interior of the restaurant is modest, it gives a cozy feel.

The complimentary bread that comes with your meal. It is perfectly warm and toasted on the outside, and the inside is fluffy. It is perfect for dipping in your hummus or other dips available on their menu.

The shepard salad and hummus. This shepard salad is the most delicious salad I have ever tasted. The hummus is creamy and delicious too.

The lamb shish with white rice. Perfectly cooked. 

The chicken shish with white rice. The chicken was perfectly juicy and charred. They also offer these platters with yellow rice (bulgur) which is an equally delicious pairing.

Baklava that was yummy and not too sweet. The crust was flaky and light.

Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. Try to order a little bit of everything :)
